No. The price is the same anywhere in Nottinghamshire, with no mileage or call-out charge: Standard £199.99, Premium £249.99, and the EV battery check £149.99.
Can you inspect a car at Available Car in Sutton-in-Ashfield before I sign, and do they allow it?
Yes. Reserve the car and tell the sales team an independent inspector is booked. Supermarket sites are used to it. We inspect on their premises, road test where they allow it and send you the video, photos and report the same day.
The car is at a dealer on Southwell Road West in Mansfield. Can you fit the inspection and a test drive into one visit?
Yes. Standard takes about an hour at the car and Premium about an hour and a half, including our own road test. If you want to drive it yourself, come for the end of the inspection and we go through the findings with you at the car.
I am buying from a private seller in Newark or Hucknall. What do I need to arrange with them?
A time when the car is available for about an hour and a half, the keys, the V5C and any service history to hand, somewhere level to park it, and permission for a short road test with the seller's insurance in place. We can arrange all of that with the seller directly if you give us their number.
Do I need to be there?
No. We can inspect the car directly with the seller or dealer and send you the video review, photos and report afterwards, then talk it through with you on the phone.
Will you tell me whether to buy the car?
We give you the findings, point out what matters and what it is likely to cost, and talk it through so you can make your own decision. We have no commission from the sale, so the advice is straight.
